this journal blug

had some rain this morning & it prevented the walk ... but little green things in the garden are happy ... a bit after one dom & i walked out into the humid world & it felt really good ... to me ... and there was this nice wind in the tall grass ... so i walked with the eye of terrence malick ... have you seen The New World? no matter ... i think he's got long shots of tall wavy grass in every film ...

just read the short 33 1/3 book Ramones ... a very sensible take on punk notions & the band ... then i launched into this other short one on basquiat (a remaindered taschen with really cool pictures)

& watched The Grave of the Fireflies ... so ... with all this it seems i'm well into summer mode ... & down to mom & meg tomorrow ...
