Sestina Form

A sestina is a poem containing six stanzas of six lines each, followed by a three-line conclusion (envoi). Choose six interesting words and place them on the first six lines here. Then place each beside its number down the page. These words mark the end of each line in your sestina. Feel free to vary the form and function of these words as you meet the need.

See Ezra Pound's "Sestina: Altaforte" as an example.
