I lived in a family of ten
One great happy family were we.
As I grew up, I moved to Libya.
Although it had many probelms -
Still not as much as my home country.
The Philippines was a poor place
But a friendly one.
Then the worst news of my life had come.
Something inside me was eating me alive.
It would slowly bring Death; I knew it.
I decided to live back with my family.
I must savor what those "guys in white"
Say is my last couple years.
My family came together again -
On account of me.
It was serene - a heavenly state of existence
.
Yes, it was.
Breast cancer had taken the best of me.
