Joseph Cunneen
Born the 4th of 5 boys
My life was full of struggles
The depression hurt my family
And we were fatherless when I turned 16
I took the business over for Dad
But then war took hold of me
Finally a light came shining through
Her name - Mary and she was my everything
My gift was being shot
Now I was home and wed to my bride
A family man I became
Three more girls and so much joy
Business was slow for oil was out and gas in.
I sold and took my retirement as a blessing
My youngest sick so I became her nurse
A sad day to lose a daughter
Hope came in the form of grandchildren
I loved them and they were my light
The day I died I was so proud
The littlest of all read her first book!
