Dean Turner Sr.

I was born in Hainsville.
Grew up in Waukegan.
With three sisters, I was outnumbered.
My mother sold donuts and raised chickens.
My father was a plumber.
I worked at Abbott Labs where I met the most beautiful girl,
Her name was Anne.
We were married in 1950.
From then on we raised three little ones of our own.
I was known for my whistling and my cheery spirits.
Anne and I grew old together.
We had three grandchildren to spoil.
I got sick in 1999 and never recovered.
My lungs filled with fluid and my heart began to fail.
I could breathe no longer and went home above.
