here's april...
and what we call spring break... i'm home nursing a sore toe
for some reason... pondering the fate of a cat... got an anonymous
note the other day... it said something like "blah blah
blah blah blah all you ever do is talk talk blah blah"...
so...
the other day
i took a walk with the camera and noticed this stuff... which
makes me wish i lived in florence... rouen... mumbai...
The zoo cannot
but disappoint. The public purpose of zoos is to offer visitors
the opportunity of looking at animals. Yet nowhere in a zoo can
a stranger encounter the look of an animal. At the most, the
animal's gaze flickers and passes on. They look sideways. They
look blindly beyond.
